Kim Farrington Medical Updates

As many of you know my mom (Kim) has been struggling with digestive health issues that have progressively gotten worse through this year. She made her first trip to the mayo clinic in November for her first round of testing. Where they have confirmed she has at least one autoimmune disease, Sjogren's Syndrome,  her level was severe. She has since been put on a low fiber diet which has managed to help keep her from losing any more weight (currently holding at 119 lbs), for the first time in months (praise God!).

She has undergone one procedure removing calcified crystals (there is a medical name for this but I don't know what it is, but is also caused by autoimmune responses in the body) from her legs that were attached to nerves causing a great deal of pain for her when anything touched her legs. There will be more of these procedures to continue to remove the calcified crystals and bring relief to her legs.

She has returned to the Scottsdale Mayo clinic as of Dec 13th, and will be spending the week undergoing additional testing & procedures, in hopes of more answers and solutions to the digestive issues.

While making the trip to Phoenix/Scottsdale the engine in her vehicle died. Phil and Kim are still checking into solutions for the vehicle, in the meantime Kim has rented a car to make it to her appointments in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Through this, obviously, medical expenses building up now a new engine on the horizon. If you feel led to help out it would be an abundant blessing. Also Kim & Phil would be ever so grateful for prayers for healing, wisdom for the doctors and staff, and praise God for the provision for additional expenses.
