Kim Jones (Novak) ~ providing support for her boys

Please join me in sharing this opportunity to do something for Kim. In this impossible time, we can do something big or small to honour the person that we have all lost.

Our lives were forever changed at the end of April, when Kimberly was suddenly hospitalized with what we would later learn was a brain hemorrhage.

Despite extensive efforts, through tears and with broken hearts, we were forced to say goodbye.

Through our shared grief, the top priority for her family is to ensure the well-being of her two young boys. They were the center of her world and of course, are the center of ours.

The outreach of kind words and flowers has been overwhelming and we are grateful. We humbly request that donations be made in lieu of flowers, to provide security for the future of her boys.

Kimberly dedicated her career to ensuring the fair treatment of workers across the province. She was a fierce advocate for inclusion and her kindness extended well beyond the duties of her role as President of UFCW 1518.

We’ve lost a remarkable and irreplaceable daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, colleague and champion for all that she knew.
