Kim Needham

Kim's Update: Kim has been in intensive rehab since April 2, 2024, and has made some encouraging progress. When she first started all she had was movement in her shoulders, but as of April 18, 2024 Kim has gotten some movement back in her arms, but no voluntary movement from her waist down. The movement in her arms give us hope and over time we are hoping for lower body movements. We all know Kim is a fighter and she is working hard each day to regain her strength and any movement she can. Our family wants to say thank you for your generosity and support while we navigate through this difficult time.

Hello everyone, I truly appreciate you taking the time to read Kim’s story. Kim was in a horrible ATV accident resulting in a spinal cord injury and a C-4 fracture. She also sustained a collapsed lung with a tear in the lung and diaphragm. She is still in the ICU but getting close to heading to a spinal cord rehabilitation center in Jacksonville. At this time Kim is unable to move anything from her chest down but Kim is a fighter, looking forward to rehab and we pray that as she heals, there is an opportunity to regain some of her lower motor function. All money donated will go towards Kim’s necessities, equipment and personal care she will need to rebuild her life after rehab.
