Kim Taliaferro (Barrs) & Family

Kim is a long term medical assistant who has spent the majority of her career working in pediatric medicine. She consistently goes above and beyond for her patients and has been recognzied for her exemplary service many times in her organization. Kim was rear-ended in a car accident in October this year and suffered injuries including nerve damage.  Sadly, Kim's short term disability insurance benefits have yet to approve financial supplementation for Kim and her family. Kim is a responsible planner and has paid short term disability premiums for sixteen years, however the insurance company is currently not recognizing the severity and urgency of this situation.  Kim's employer is unable to provide assistance due to enterprise wide policies. As a result, Kim is without adequate income to support her family. Kim's teenage children are working to help provide income but it is still not possible to make ends meet.  Money raised will be used to provide food, pay utilities, and pay for living expenses while Kim recovers. Please help me raise money for this amazing woman and her family.
