Celebration of Life-Kim Wollenburg

Kim deserves a Bucket List worthy adventure!
For the past 24 years, Kim has been the primary caretaker of her child who will live with her for the rest of his life. Her son was born with Down syndrome and major health issues requiring numerous hospitalizations and treatments over the course of his life. Every aspect of Kim's life financially, emotionally, physically, and mentally is required to revolve around and be devoted to her beloved son.
Kim is celebrating three milestones. First, she has been clean and sober for over 10 years and is the author of the Best Selling biography Crystal Clean. Second, she has successfully lost 95lbs this past year. Thirdly, Kim has maintained a beautiful smile and an honest, witty sense of humor through her serious, life-threatening trials and tribulations.
This past spring, Kim realized there was an extremely rare sliver of time on the calendar this summer where she would be happy, healthy and alone. On her Bucket List was the wish to vacation in Hawaii. Kim carefully researched her special trip. Reservations were made. As excitement, hopes and dreams consumed her thoughts of relaxing in paradise, another unexpected finanical obligation came crashing in like a wave, forcing Kim to responsibly cancel her independent adventure to Hawaii.
I know of no other person who deserves this Bucket List worthy retreat more than Kim Wollenburg! She has encountered and persevered through tremendous hardships at a level that most of us hopefully will never experience. She strives every single day to make a significant difference in the lives of others as she graciously sacrifices her own wants and needs. Kim is truly an inspiration to the strength of human spirit.
July 31-August 4 are the anticipated Hawaii arrival and departure dates. Random Acts of Kindness from society to financially give Kim a desperately needed rare opportunity to celebrate life in her prime, would be greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Heidi Funke
