Kimber Jones Funeral Service
Donation protected
My niece, Kimber, is a 39 year old loving mother to her autistic daughter, Brooke. In February of last year, she fell victim to a severe asthma attack and cardiac arrest that has left her with severe brain damage. Right now, she is completely reliant on life support systems to eat and breathe. We had hoped that since she was so young, she would improve with time. Last week, she suffered another cardiac arrest and her condition worsened. Her family has since made the difficult decision to remove her life support services in the very near future and are in the process of making arrangements for such.
The immediate family is looking to put together a fund for her funeral and ceremony, and our hope is that those who knew Kimber or her loved ones might be willing to help. Kimber leaves behind her 19-year old daughter, Brooke (Jadla) Jones, who suffers from low-functioning autism. She requires constant supervision and taking care of her is a greater commitment than a full-time job. With the care of Brooke now going to her grandparents, they are definitely in need of some financial and emotional support right now.
The goal was set for $6,000 as that is roughly the cost of a Cremation and Memorial service in Maryland, but there are many additional expenses that the figure doesn't cover. That said, any donation amount is greatly appreciated. Even a kind message of support to the family goes a long way at this time. Any additional funds would go towards the long term care and maintenance of her daughter Brooke.
For those who knew Kimber and would like to say goodbye while she is in hospice care and before she is removed from life support, please reach out for information on how to visit. We will follow up with information on the service once things have been arranged.
