Hi I’m Angela I’m the daughter of Kimberly Layne. My mother and her boyfriend were in a very tragic car accident Monday morning at 11:30am.

Mercedes-Benz traveling westbound on Speedway faster than the 35 mph speed limit hit a Toyota Yaris. The Yaris was

turning left from the eastbound lanes, north onto Jefferson Avenue.

39-year-old driver Kimberly Roxanne Layne and her Boyfriend, 40-year-old Douglas Keith Bland Jr. Passed at the scene.

My mother Kimberly had such a beautiful sweet soul, she had left behind her three daughters, son and her two grandsons. As Dougie left behind his daughter and son.

My mother left without any life insurance or anything to help with the cost of her memorial. We had recently got a house together with my mom and sisters and now we have to figure out costs of rent and a memorial without her extra income . We are so very devastated at this sudden tragedy and anything would help us get through this tough time. Please keep my family in your prayers as we are mourning the death of not only one soul but two.❤️‍ Thank You.
