Kimberly Severin

Hi, my name is Danielle Wallin and I’m raising money for my mother -in-law, Kimberly Severin. Kim had a massive brain bleed back in July 2022. To relieve some of the pressure and stop the bleeding they had to remove part of her skull. She just had surgery back on January 4th to get part of her skull put back in. She has been going from hospitals to rehab facilities over the past 6 months and is being released to come home on January 19. We can’t say that she is totally ready to come home as she has lots of work and rehab to continue doing but unfortunately insurance has stopped paying. We are very excited to bring her back home to continue her road to recovery. Thankfully, insurance is sending us home with a hospital bed and a lift so we can continue her care at home. Kim’s family will have many more expenses as we will be looking at getting a handicap accessible vehicle, physical therapy equipment to hopefully encourage her to stand again, and many more medical supplies and equipment that insurance doesn’t cover. We have so many friends and family provide such amazing love and support during this extremely challenging time and we are so appreciative of that!
