UPDATE: dealing with bacterial pneumonia now, with hypoxia. Needing oxygen right now when I sleep because that’s when it drops to lowest, also doing injections and transfusions to replenish my blood, so I can get stronger, and of course, my chemo treatment…….Hello Everyone, the time has come that I let everyone know, I have been battling cancer. I’ve been so numb from the news. So far I have had 10 Chemo treatments in my journey so far. It was labeled as adult leukemia, and it has affected my blood. They have mentioned possible bone marrow transplant. I am not diabetic, but my A1c has been high, and the labs are showing it may be my pancreas. We do know that my GI system (Gastrointestinal) has been affected with infection and a very high white count. 

This has been hard on me, because it is right before the holidays, not knowing if this will be my last ones. I lost my precious Momma last year right before Thanksgiving/Christmas and I am still grieving from that. Now I’m looking at my beautiful family, knowing I may die from this, and my children will have no mother, and my husband and children are suffering from all this happening to me, and they are scared of losing me. I am looking to travel to MD Andreson for treatments in order to beat this.

Traveling expenses and hotel stays, and the 20% of every visit I have had so far, and the future appointments that are coming, has left me terrified, but I’m a fighter, and I want to be a mother, wife, and a Nana later down the road. I want to live to see my youngest son graduate and see both my sons get married one day. 

 My family have come to the circumstances very quickly that require us to reach out for helping hands, or blessings as I begin my battle to destroy this horrible cancer that has intruded my body and livelihood.

I created this funding channel for several reasons, but the most glaring issue will be the expenses associated with the armory needed to fight this battle. Not only our immediate expenses such as co-pays, but for hotels, gas, etc.
