Kimberly's Memorial & Children's Fund

Hello, My name is Heather and my siblings and I are raising money for my sister Kimberly Ann's funeral and funds to help her children to get on their feet.

Kimmie passed away on Thursday, 2/9/2023 at 39 after a 20+ year battle with childhood diabetes. She lost her leg to diabetes around 5 years ago, became fully disabled and over the last few years has spent months in the hospital yearly. Her cause of death was heart failure and was quite unexpected to happen so abruptly. One day was the same as usual and the next she lost consciousness in the shower and passed in the hospital soon afterwards as she could not be revived.

She is survived by 5 children that she raised primarily on her own. 2 of the 5 are grown and living their own lives. However, the youngest 3 children are twin girls of 15 years of age and a son who is 13. They are all devastated and in shock that their whole lives have been turned upside down in a moment. Not only are they dealing with grief, they now need to be relocated and nothing about their lives will be the same as it was just a few short days ago.

Since she has passed so abruptly her last three children will need to move to a new home and Kim's siblings will be taking on their primary care to keep them in the family.

We are raising money to help cover a portion of funeral services and also to help the remaining minor children to reset their lives. Any contributions will be much appreciated and no amount is too small.
