Kim Garner's Rally Against GBS

Donation protected
In October, 2015, Kim Garner experienced a sudden loss of movement in her legs. In the weeks that followed, she became completely paralyzed due to Guillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS). Guillain-Barre (gee-YAH-buh-RAY) Syndrome is a rare disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerve cells. Weakness and tingling in your extremities are usually the first symptoms.

This syndrome is extremely unpredictable and devastating.  Paralysis has caused other life-threatening side effects. As a result, Kim has been hospitalized for 5+ months. As a single mother of three young children, Kim is faced with so many additional worries. Her friends and loved ones continue to ask, "What can we do?”

Though we cannot control this disease and the toll it takes on our friend and her family, we can help.  Hospital bills are mounting and alleviating some of the financial burden is something everyone can help with.

Kim has always been an active member of her community, and has gone out of her way to help people in need.  Please consider donating whatever you can to help Kim and her children get through the most difficult time of their lives.

Thank you! Prayers for Kim
