Kimmy's Kick Kancer's Ass Fund

In early March of this year, after a couple months of labored breathing, Kimmy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Squamous Cell Carcinoma concentrated in the lungs. Because Kimmy is such a bad-ass uphill athlete, she noticed her diminished lung capacity and the cancer was caught early before it metastasized to other areas of the body.

Beginning Monday, March 27th, she will start 7 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation. During the majority of this time, she will be staying in Morgantown. After these treatments, she will possibly have immunotherapy for an undetermined amount of time.

That being said, she is in for the fight of her life and we are all here for it to fight alongside and support her. And we know that YOU ARE TOO!! During this time, the goal is to raise funds to help Kimmy cover the cost of her bills at home, any medical bills that are not covered, Morgantown stays, gas, and lots of other incidental things that will inevitably pop up that we have no idea about yet. There will also be a meal train set up to sign-up to deliver meals. The link to that will be posted here later as well.

Kimmy is part of a wider community collective that includes you. A place of growth. A real place that comes from the heart. A safe place where we love, connect and support each other in any way we can with acceptance. Kimmy embodies this all with her giant soul full of adventure, possibility and JOY!!
