Kim's Road to Rehabilitation
Donation protected
Kim Prosser, my beautiful sister, has been seriously injured and we need your support to help with her ongoing care and rehabilitation.
On Easter Saturday, 2023, while on holidays in NSW, life changed forever for Kim and her family. Kim and her daughter Charlyze were involved in a serious quad bike accident, where she was airlifted to a Sydney hospital undergoing lifesaving neck spinal surgery. Heartbreakingly, Kim is now a Quadriplegic. She was medically transferred to a Melbourne hospital, to be closer to her family, but will remain there for several more months.
After devoting her life to help others as a nurse, and raising 4 children as a single mother for the past 15 years, Kim now needs others to support her. Kim was beginning to start the next chapter in her life with her new partner, Cam, and was excited for their future adventures as a family. Life for them won’t be the same.
Being the amazing, strong women she is, Kim is determined to begin her rehabilitation and begin to adapt to her new life. We have no idea what life in the future will look like for Kim and her family, but it is clear that the rehabilitation path and life adjustments will be long and costly.
My niece Charlyze thankfully escaped with mostly minor injuries. However, she did break one of her front teeth in the accident resulting in the need for costly extensive dental work.
There is no doubt my sister is a fighter and will do everything in her power to make sure she can be there for her 4 children in all of their future endeavours.
Please support Kim by making a donation and encourage your network to do the same.
Thank you!
