Kincaid's medical and home expenses

Hi, I am April and I am close friends with Stevie and Tasha Kincaid. I have created this fundraiser for them because, as some of you may know, Stevie has been diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma which is a type of Kidney Cancer. Stevie has been off work for a few months now after having his kidney removed and his income has been non-existent. His wife, Tasha is on limited income as well. Recently there have been some suspicious lesions in the bone which could mean that the cancer may have spread to his bones. This requires more tests, scans and losts of specialists. The doctor bills are building astronomically, as well as everyday expenses such as groceries, gas, food, etc and with the very limited income, they need our help. Stevie, as most of our community knows, is always willing to help anyone in need, including me! He has been a blessing to not only me, but many others. Every little bit helps so please consider helping this family in need.

Life changes from day to day and yesterday the Kincaid's life became forever changed... Again.

They have asked that I give an update on Stevie's health as they just are struggling to deal. When Stevie first started having pain it was in his hip and back, that was when the mass on his kidney was discovered. They did a bone scan prior to his kidney removal and seen "something" on his hip but that was not the immediate concern. The Dr. went ahead with removing the kidney and confirmed the cancer diagnoses. Fast forward a couple months and the pain in the hip continues. Stevie had new scans and a biopsy last week. On 8/24/23 they were told that he has Stage 4 Kidney cancer in the bone. He started radiation within hours and will have 10 treatments, 10 mins a day with the last one being September 8th. Monday August 28th he will start Chemo pills twice a day and will start infusions on September 8th every 6 weeks.

Stevie has fought like hell is whole life to do for others, no matter what they needed he would work tirelessly to make it happen. Now it's time for Stevie to fight like hell for himself. He is fighting for more time as that's the best we can hope for, at this stage there is no cure just better than he is today.

I know Stevie has touched so many of you and he needs your prayers to touch him now. He is not expected to make it back to work, and that is just added stress to an unbearable situation. If you can help, the family would appreciate it. If you can't share the opportunity for others to help and everyone pray.

Pray that he has the fight in him to fight.

Pray for healing.

Pray for patience for those who may be delayed getting responses.

Pray for understanding within the family as people who are hurting don't always know how to handle that pain.
