The Power of Community by Paying it Forward can Change the World.

ROUND TWO
(Round One raised $5410 for 17 new iPads and 41 new & lightly used iPad donations)

The COVID-19 virus is shutting down our hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities from visitors. In an effort to protect our front-line medical staff and their patients, many medical centers are quarantining their building. While this is a necessary step to stop the spread of the virus, the reality of it all is pretty simple, people are suffering and dying alone.

We have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of loved ones quarantine as they fight the Covid-19 virus and other illnesses! Providing our hospitals and senior care centers with ipads gives families an opportunity to speak with one another.

The Lunch with Lynch Foundation teamed up with Cape Regional Medical Center and provided the hospital with 20 iPads that will allow their patients to FaceTime with their family.

Our goal was to provide Cape Regional with 10 iPads, yet we collected and purchased over 60 iPads through this grass roots effort. We have provided iPads to hospitals/senior care centers in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina & South Carolina and will continue to so in the future.

With your help we would like to continue to provide iPads to other facilities throughout our great country. We can use your help with a cash donation or lightly used iPad.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

My home is in Wildwood, NJ and my 92 year old father lived in a memory care facility in Tucker, Georgia.  We have communicated through FaceTime for the past 4 years as he was unable to operate a telephone. As fate would have it, in the middle of our iPad campaign, I received a call that my dad took an unexpected turn for the worse and had only a few hours to live.

I was able to say my goodbyes to my father through FaceTime on April 13, 2020. It’s my wish that I can afford the same opportunity for other families to FaceTime their loved one at their time of need.

My dad died from natural causes of old age and his transition from earth into heaven was somewhat expected. My heart breaks heart thinking the thousands of families who have suddenly lost a family member or friend due to Covid-19.

Help us, help our neighbors.
