King Middle School kids go to Washington D.C.

Hi, my name is Rea, and I go to King Middle School. This year we are able to go to Washington, D.C., to learn about our government and our country's history. This is an important part in my education.

This year is the first time in 3 years that we are able to go, and I'm asking for your support. Anything you can share will go towards my cost of $2000 while also raising money for kids in my grade who can't afford to go. King Middle School is the only school in California that is allowing all 8th graders to go on the trip. I will put 20% from this GoFundMe into the scholarship fund for these students.

This trip is important to me because we are the next generation, and learning about our history will help us understand how we got here.
