Want to join us in making a difference? You can help bring sports and recreation facilities to North Kitsap!
The Rotary Kingston-North Kitsap Foundation and YMCA are leading the effort to create a multi-use sports and recreation complex in North Kitsap. This complex would consist of indoor and outdoor facilities that provide a wide range of sports and recreation options.
Sports include (but aren’t limited to) things like, baseball/softball, soccer, (flag) football, lacrosse, basketball, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, wrestling and cheer. Recreational amenities include the possibility of walking/jogging trails, a playground, dog park, 18-hole frisbee golf course, a splash pad, an outdoor skate rink, and a pool.
Our goal is to create a complex that can be used year-round and for a wide variety of activities and events for all ages. We are currently in the beginning phase of this project and are raising funds to help with the initial planning expenses and costs associated with exploring this project.
