Kinross Road Feeder Support

Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, the homeowners at the Kinross Road Feeders location in Chippewa County in the eastern UP, for years have diligently maintained an amazing network of bird and wildlife feeders that has provided so many complete strangers (that is Birders!) with countless hours of bird watching enjoyment. How many rare birds have they hosted for us?  And how many times have you stood outside their house peering at their feeders?  

The Andersons are in a bit of a bind and we’d like to help them out.  Mr. Anderson is newly released from the hospital and recovering from pneumonia. Their roof desperately needs to be shoveled and they don’t have funds for it. Mrs. Anderson stocks the feeders. I can only imagine what that costs. 

So we thought it would be good to pay them back a little for their generosity toward the birds, and help them with some of their expenses. Any money raised will be used to shovel the roof, and any extra will be given for them to use to feed the birds.
