Kippax Athletic Black's U13 3 peaks challenge
Donation protected
Kippax Athletic 'U13s Blacks' football team will be aiming to raise funds for the next season by taking on the challenge of walking the Yorkshire three peaks in June '23.
Last year the boys, with a few of the parents as support, completed the challenge over two days. This year they plan to do all three peaks in 1 day!!!
The Yorkshire three peaks are situated in the Yorkshire Dales and the challenge consists of climbing to the summit of mountains Pen-y-Ghent (694m) Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m) whilst walking over 20 miles distance.
This will be a huge challenge for the lads. The team has grown in size so much that they are currently training together but running two weekend competitive teams. This will be a great opportunity for the boys to team build, strengthen their bond and work together as a whole team.
We fully appreciate that times are tough for many right now so any donations or sponsorship will be greatly appreciated. Most of the trip is being funded by the team members so any money raised will go towards the running of the team.
