Kippax Community Pantry

Hello, my name is Joe Gregory and I recently met a wonderful man called Martin Eyre, who is the Chair of the Kippax Parish Council. He spends most of his time doing whatever he can to help his community, which includes running the Kippax Community Pantry. It has been running for over a year and helps families in the local area during these difficult times. He currently locates funding for the scheme by looking for grants wherever he can to keep the project running.

I would like to help Martin, in some small way, to keep this worthy cause running for as long as possible which is why I am asking for donations. On Saturday 22nd June, I am taking part in the 'Chase the Sun' bike ride from Minster-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey, all the way to Weston-Super-Mare on the west coast. The aim is to start the bike ride as the sun rises on the east coast, with the intention of getting to the other side of the country before it sets, total distance of 209 miles (or 330km).

It will mean about 14 hours in the saddle, and will probably hurt quite a bit! Please feel free to provide whatever monies you can, every little helps.
