The Esparza Family
Donation protected
Firstly, I just want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my cause for a donation. Let me share with you my current family situation. My mother, Gloria Esparza, is currently residing in Mexicali, B. C. Mexico. She is a mother of 8 U.S. Citizen children, she herself, unfortunately, is not a U.S. Citizen. Months ago, she made the sacrifice of leaving the U.S. in order to care for her dying father, that she had not seen in 15 years. This decision brought many troubles amongst the family, financially and emotionally. Having to travel back and forth, from Lancaster, CA, to Mexicali, B. C. Mexico really affected our family, our jobs, school etc. A week ago from today, my very ill grandpa was being threatened to be killed by vicious gang members, because of a accusation which he did not commit. Due to this, he was forced to flee in order to protect himself, causing the gang members to then come after any of his family members. Being that my mother, Gloria Esparza, lived with my grandpa, they then went after her and her children in order to find out where my granpda was hiding. There have been personal confrontations/threats from the gang members to my family saying that they will go into my mothers house and kill whoever in order to find out where my grandpa is at. My mother has a hard time sleeping knowing that the life of her children and her are at a very high risk. There have been various cars circling her home, she fears to even come outside at times. She has gone to various family members homes, but the gang members have managed to find her. She has been to police stations various times only to be told that she can't be helped. All of these occurrences have really broken us, and made us worry. Our only option now is to seek political asylum, which is a refuge option that the U.S. government offers for all those who are at risk of death. This would allow her to return to the U.S. to be safe and back with her family. We are heavily relying on this option, in order to save the life of my mother and her children (my siblings). We have a lawyer on standby waiting to help my mother with her case. The total cost is $6000, but the lawyer requires an immediate $2000 to begin the case. We can not keep putting our mother at risk any longer, so today we are taking her to the border of Tijuana, Mexico in order to start the process of political asylum. We do not have the funds to pay the lawyer. We are desperately seeking the immediate help of many. Whether it be prayers for protection, or a donation out of your heart. We greatly appreciate any little help you can give, and we pray that God will repay you in the long run. Thank you, and God bless you.
