Help Kira Fight Cancer

Hi! We're friends of the amazing Kira Wrisley. You may know her as the co-author of the NYT bestselling novel Five Nights at Freddy’s The Silver Eyes along with its two sequels. In June of 2023, at the age of 39, Kira was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. We're raising money to help her pay for the costs and expenses incurred by her treatment.

Kira means so much to us. Over the years, she's been a great friend, roommate, cat co-parent, wedding buddy and chosen sibling. Kira is a freelance writer and editor, an inconsistent source of income that requires a lot of energy in the best of circumstances, and which will prove especially challenging while undergoing months of chemo and surgery.

Our goal is to raise $7000. While Kira does have health insurance, money raised will go towards covering lost income during treatment, co-pays, services not covered by insurance, and the cost of travel to and from chemo.

Her doctors are optimistic that her cancer is treatable, and her friends near and far are committed to supporting her through this difficult time. As her friends and comrades, we hope that we can provide a safety net for her – no one should have to worry about paying the bills while undergoing cancer treatment.
