Kira "Bean" Talboom's Cancer Battle

I am Kira's Gams. While Kira is fighting this battle, her mommy and daddy will also be financially struggling on top of this already emotional rollercoaster. They will not be paid for any missed days. The hospital is 2 1/2 hours away from home. Any help would greatly be appreciated.                                       Please read Kira's Story.. Thank You .                   #KiraBeansCancerBattle                                         Miss Kira Bean, is the Sweetest, most Loving, Caring, Thoughtful little girl. She is 5 years old. She has two little brothers, Roman 4 and Adrian 2. Mom: Jessica, Dad: Chris .                                                          & This Battle began with some leg pain, that would come and go. She was taken to the doctor a number of times. Was told:                                             >Growing Pains >Rotated Hip-went physical therapy >Scoliosis-possibly .                                                           & Tuesday night her pain was so intense she was rolling on the floor sobbing. She was taken to the ER. .                                                           (About 10pm Tuesday) Day 1: Our Nightmare Shows Itself! During the ER visit. >Examined >Bood Work >Xrayed Thought they found 2 masses in her abdomen. The areas now look swollen, so they made plans to transport her to Peyton Manning's Children's Hospital. . &                                                    Once here, (About 8am Wed) we were told the two masses are actually one big mass. It is pressing on some of her organs. So:                                                        >Xrays.                                                      >Blood Work.                                             >Biopsy.                                                 >Consultations many many of them.      & A whirlwind of down right frightening information that just seems so unreal. You're just thinking how can this be happening to this little girl. Kira is now put on morphine for her pain. (6pm Wed) .       &                                                         Day 2: (about 10am Thur. Halloween) (Jessica's Words) I’m in the recovery waiting room for pediatric surgery as my babygirl just had her nephrostomy tube put in . Everything about that procedure went perfectly thank the Gods . This will relieve the pressure from her ureter and allow the kidney size to drop to normal and continue working correctly . This is absolutely necessary as we don’t want her kidney to keep struggling through future treatment and fail on her . They also did a biopsy on the mass yesterday of course and a lot more imaging etc . Unfortunately we won’t know the true diagnosis until as long as Monday/Tuesday. & Her specialists’ “non-sugar coated, educated opinion” was that there is a 95% chance it is one of the following cancers : •sarcoma •lymphoma •dysgerminoma •neuroblastoma On the very small chance that it is not , they will still have to go through with some sort of cancer treatment regardless , because the mass is just too large and her body is just too little to remove it all through surgery . I cannot believe how my baby is so resilient , brave , strong & gracious !! So much more than me !! So much more than a lot of us !! I don’t think my brain has fully processed what is going on and I can’t imagine all the things she’s going through inside her own head . I am proud of myself and Chris as well for keeping ourselves together and staying strong for her . One day at a time . Thank you to everyone helping with our boys and needs during all of this . We have a long road ahead of us all . Please continue thinking of her and praying for everything to work out the best it possibly can ❤️ .           <3                                                     Gams here again... It is now 8:30pm Halloween. Kira has spent her Tricker Treating time getting a CT Scan. She will be given morphine for the pain and hopefully get some sleep. She has another big day tomorrow starting at 8am she will start the day with an MRI and fight each Battle that comes her way.
