Kira Daniel - Alvin Ailey Camp

Hello my name is Kira Daniel - I am 14 years old and I have been given the opportunity to attend The Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive Dance Camp 2015. 

Dance is my passion and future career!!!

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and now I can see some of my goals in life coming full circle.  I am cherishing this opportunity because I was chosen from about 50 kids that auditioned here in Houston. 

Alvin Ailey has held auditions all around the country and I am thankful to be one of ones chosen to attend this camp.  I will be traveling to New York City this summer for 5 weeks of classes and intensive training. 

I am responsible for the cost of travel, classes and housing during the 5 weeks. I am asking for help to achieve my goal.  My mother, father and grandmother are supporting me but I want to raise money on my own as well because they have already done so much for me.
