Kiran's recovery fund

Kiran is a beautiful soul, kind, generous and caring. Everyone who meets him wants to be around him, he is truly special and beloved by all. He has a wonderful family with a caring wife and two beautiful kids aged 9 & 6. I never thought my brother in law would be a victim of Covid.

Kiran has been infected with Covid-19 early May’21 and his lungs were severely infected, he was under oxygen support for few weeks and appeared to have recovered from Covid only to fall sick again due to other post-covid complications. He is diagnosed with Severe Pneumonia, Fungal rhino sinusitis, his current issues are Acute respiratory distress syndrome and he is on controlled mechanical ventilation. As per the treating doctors, he requires prolonged ICU stay with ventilator support, further sessions of renal replacement surgery, broad spectrum Antimicrobials and supporting medication.

Hearing about how people have lost their loved ones to COVID and even watching a few succumb to the disease in the hospital, leaves me and my family in fear. Kiran is battling with his conditions and we all are convincing ourselves that he will pull through this tough phase but the funds are something we are struggling to arrange. So far it costed 50,000 USD on the treatment in addition to the insurance payout, we ran out of insurance cap amount and the further diagnosis requires about 2000$ per day at least for more than a month (as per the treating doctors). Request you all to please help us get this costly treatment for Kiran, he needs it to Survive!!
