Kirk Garrett living with pancreatic cancer

I am a 50+ year entertainer. I have been performing in both Musical-Comedy Shows for over thirty years as well as America's Top Rated Dueling Pianos Show, Killer Keyz, for the last twenty years. My performing name is Kirk Garrett which I have been known by for years. My legal name is Dennis Moore.

I have had a wonderful life, and have made a decent living saving well for my eventual retirement. The Covid 19 pandemic shut-down stopped all of our performances and all of our income for two years. After finally going back to work for two months at the end of the shut-down, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had spread to additional organs. I immediately started sessions of chemotherapy, understanding I had decent medical insurance.

Between the two years of Covid 19 shut-down and the exorbitant amount of uncovered medical expenses, it has completely wiped me out financially, and reluctantly and embarrassingly, I am reaching out for help from anyone that has the comfortable ability to lend a hand.

My cancer battle has not been an easy one, but my oncologist says I have been showing improvements over my tumors in my last CAT scan. The spots found in my lungs and bone marrow are completely gone, and the tumors in the pancreas and liver have not grown at all to this point in chemotherapy.

My ability to continue to pay my medical providers in order to continue with my treatment is paramount, and the reason I have chosen this pathway to see if it helps.

The funds will be used to pay both currently due and future medical cost related to my treatment. The majority of the medications, bi-weekly blood work, medical scans and radiology readings are not fully covered by insurance, which have amounted to thousands of dollars, and so much more to go, it's frightening. It will also help to pay for part of ongoing utility expenses. Thank you!
