Kirk Hansen Cancer Treatment Assistance

Hi, my name is Kelsey, and I am starting this GoFundMe to assist my mom and stepdad during a trying time. My stepdad recently discovered he has Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) and will begin chemo and radiation on November 17th, 2022. They must travel an hour each way, five days a week, for his treatments. Kirk works in the food service industry as a chef, and the health insurance will not cover much; during this time, he will not be able to work, and my mother, as his driver and primary support, will also have little opportunity. I want to help them with gas money, groceries, or even hotel stays closer to the treatment center. During this time, and so close to the holidays, they should not have to worry about where the money is coming from and should be able to focus solely on healing and recovery.
