Kirk Hanson, Recovering Stroke Victim

Hi, my name is Kelley Burke. I'm fundraising for Kirk Hanson and Shannon Larkin of St. Paul, Minnesota.

 

Kirk had a massive stroke on Thursday, November 4th while working from home. Fortunately, his wife Shannon was also working from home. She recognized that he was having a stroke, and called 911 immediately. Their life changed in that instant. 

 

Kirk is currently in the Surgical ICU, where he has been since November 4, 2021.

 

Kirk works as an independent consultant. He does not have disability insurance. It's very likely that he will not be able to work for months. Shannon will be his caretaker, and this will impact her ability to work, as well.

 

Your donation will go towards his medical bills and household expenses while Kirk recovers from his massive stroke.

Shannon and Kirk are an amazing, warm couple with huge hearts. They married in June 2019 after being life partners for many years.

 I've known Shannon since 1984. We met in high school at St. Agnes. We were college roommates. And all these years later, she is one of my dearest friends.
