In loving memory of Kirk Hylands

October 16, 2024, the unimaginable happened when we lost our dear husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Kirk Hylands. Kirk passed away after a brief but heroic battle with cancer at the young age of 43. His passing has forever changed the lives of the many who loved him but none more then his loving wife Christina and their beautiful 1 year old daughter Senna.

To know Kirk was to love him. He had an indescribable charisma that drew people to him. You only had to meet Kirk once for him to have left a lasting impression on your life and during Kirk's battle with cancer it became overwhelmingly clear how truly beloved he was. We will miss Kirk's quick wit and dry humour that often left those around him laughing to tears. There was absolutely no situation he couldn't make a joke of and that remained true even in his final days. While Kirk provided so much joy for everyone else, his greatest source of joy was his bride Christina and undeniably his daughter Senna. Kirk was a true family man. Watching him as a father over the last year, and witnessing the overwhelming pride he had for his daughter, it was obvious that his true calling in life was being Senna's "Dada".

The void that this loss has created for Christina and Senna is the purpose for creating this GoFundMe Campaign. It is meant to be an outlet for all those who have been asking how they can help, and a way to provide the needed support for the people Kirk loved the most as they navigate their devastating new reality.
