Kir, a Cancer Warrior, Continuing the Battle

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

We come together today to rally around Kirsten, a 35-year-old brave woman who is in the fight for her life against Stage IV Colon Cancer. As she faces this life-altering disease, Kirsten's resilience shines through, inspiring us all to offer our unwavering support during this trying time.

Kirsten's journey began in March 2021 when she experienced severe abdominal pain. After extensive testing and surgery, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Colon Cancer at the age of 32. The news was life-shattering. At the same time that she received the devastating news of her cancer diagnosis, Kirsten and Jen found out they were expecting their first child, Adelaide. Despite the immense emotional and physical toll, Kirsten has remained steadfast in her determination to overcome this adversity and live life to the fullest.

Over the last two and a half years Kirsten has gone through multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries while working full time and being an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Kirsten is known as “everyone's favorite person”. Unfortunately our favorite person received recent news that treatment options are limited. At this time, the cancer has spread to her bones and throughout her body. Her oncology care team has recently informed her that they have exhausted all options at their disposal. While this news is devastating, Kirsten is choosing to continue to fight the battle.

Kirsten is a fighter, so with your donation, we can give Kir the chance to continue her fight, so that she can experience the beauty of life with her wife and daughter.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to alleviate the financial burden that accompanies her ongoing treatments, medications, healthcare expenses, and additional cost that may come to her family during the process. These funds will enable Kirsten to focus solely on her health, well-being, without the added stress of additional bills and financial constraints.
