Kirkman's Donations from Lahaina Fires on Maui

We are Ralph/Cindy Vitales, we met the Kirkman's in 2009 when Kimo married us in Maui. We have stayed close friends throughout the years and Kimo renewed our vows in 2019. We will always be Ohana (family) for life.

Our friends Kimo/Steffani Kirkman were visiting from Maui to secure careers in the Bay Area. They were planning to relocate to Castro Valley and start a new exciting chapter of their lives but yesterday evening they became aware of the uncontrollable fires raging on the island of Maui. They cut their trip short and caught the first flight back to Maui on 8/9 to see if their home and beloved pets Nori and Bruno their dogs and Honi their cat were affected by the devastation. They returned home thinking they would pack up their belongings and ship their possessions to the mainland in a container. The worst tragedy was the outcome, their home, pets and memorable possessions had become victims of Hurricane Dora's wild winds that fueled this horrific fire on the island. Their sole possessions are the 2 suitcases they traveled back with and 2 automobiles that we're miraculously unscathed. Please help this loving and caring couple rebuild their lives!
