In Memory of Kirsten James

UPDATE: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kirsten James, who bravely fought her battle with cancer. Kirsten was a beloved mother, friend, and community member, known for her kindness and strength.

Services will be held on Saturday 10/26 at St Mary's Catholic Church Rockledge. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to her GoFundMe page, which has been established to support and provide education for her two boys. Your contributions will make a meaningful difference in their lives during this difficult time.

Kirsten James was diagnosed with Terminal Stage 4 Metastatic Cancer on April 25th 2022 and only given a year to live. Over the last year and a half, she has been going through several treatments to help prolong her life. Recently, doctors have told Kirsten that she has no options left and they give her 3-6 months to live. Kirsten is currently seeking alternative treatments that are not covered by insurance. One of the treatments she will be doing will make her mostly blind and she will not be able to work anymore. With the cost of treatments and her not being able to work, we have set up a go fund me account to raise the money needed for this treatment to try and give her more time with her family.
