Kirton Davis Family Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Danielle Anderson and I am asking for support for my dear friends, Taylor and Ryan Kirton-Davis, and their children Burke (2yo) and Liam (8 months) this holiday season. While pregnant with her second child this year, Taylor learned that that she had an aggressive form of breast cancer, intraductal carcinoma. She started treatment immediately and later underwent single mastectomy during pregnancy.
Taylor and Ryan welcomed their son, Liam, in April of 2023. Despite extensive chemotherapy treatments, Taylor’s cancer has spread to her liver, lungs, and brain and is now incurable. Taylor continues to undergo radiation and battle the side effects of treatment to give herself as much time with Burke and Liam as possible. Taylor’s family and friends describe her resiliency in the face of this diagnosis. She has shed light on her experience as a patient, journey with her family, and advocated for research for metastatic breast cancer. During this time, Taylor also continued her training as an Infectious Disease Fellow to begin her dream career, after many years of medical training. She continued to work bringing hope and healing to patients during her own battle with cancer. I know Taylor as selfless individual, fierce supporter of her friends, and the most loving mother and wife. This Go Fund Me is to help with costs incurred from her medical illness.
Taylor is from Irmo, South Carolina and graduated from Dutch Fork High School. Taylor and Ryan are both University of South Carolina alumni. Taylor is also an alumna of the USC School of Medicine in Columbia, class of 2017. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University and went on to train at VCU in infectious disease. The Kirton-Davis family currently resides in Virginia. Their daughter, Burke, is full of personality, laughs, and fun. The addition of Baby Liam has been a great source of joy this year. Please consider donating to help with the cost of an extensive medical illness and allow them to focus on time spent with family.
Taylor cared for patients during the pandemic and even continued to care for patients after receiving a devastating cancer diagnosis. Please join me in this opportunity to take care of her!
