Kisaan Sleep Out Fundraiser

The Kisaan Sleep Out is a demonstration that aims to raise awareness about the Farmer Protest in India. Farmers are protesting against agricultural reform bills passed by the government undemocratically that directly affect the livelihood of millions of families. By sleeping outside on the streets in Vancouver in front of the Consulate General of India, we are standing in solidarity with the protestors in India who have been sleeping in similar conditions for several weeks. 

All proceeds from this event will go to Sahaita’s Farmer Support Project. This project supports the families of farmers who have died by suicide.
