Kissiah's Journey
Donation protected
Last December I was blessed to meet a sweet little girl named Kissiah and her mother Wendy. I found out later that Kissiah has a condition called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, which has caused her to have seizures for 8 of her 10 years. After years of medications that make her sick, continued seizures, traveling through 3 states for tons of doctor appointments and tests, worrying and waiting, she is finally scheduled next month for the final steps of a long-awaited brain surgery to stop the seizures. They were recently informed she will need to have 3 brain surgeries starting next month - 2 to place equipment in her brain and monitor for 30+ days (all of which she has to be in the hospital) before surgery to remove the monitors, and then the actual surgery to remove the tumor that is causing her seizures. Although Children's Hospital covers many of their costs, that is a lot of time her mom can't be at work - and bills still need to be paid. Please consider donating even just a small amount to this small family that has already been through so much. Every little bit helps. We will also gladly take any prayers you want to offer as well! ❤️
