Kitsune needs a biopsy
Donation protected
Hello! We are Cameron and Emily. We're the proud dog parents of these cute little dogs, Kitsune (4y/o) and Suki (2y/o). They are both miniature pinscher-rat terrier mixes and are the light of our lives.
On Thursday, December 20th, we discovered a lump in Kitsune's mouth. Any seasoned dog owner knows these can be benign just as much as they can be extremely serious. We immediately made a vet appointment for the next day to have it looked at. They told us that removal and biopsy are the best course of action. Our vet provided us with a couple of estimates ranging from a low end of about $1,000 to a high end of about $1500+.
We've had a hard year financially. Due to circumstances beyond our control, our income dropped to half of what it was at this time last year. We've had to borrow money just to keep up with basic bills. As a result, we've had no choice but to put our dogs' regular vet visits on hold.
Due to the enduring financial hardship, we are asking for $2,000 so that we can take care of Kitsune as well as his sister, Suki. The estimates for Kitsune include required vaccinations. On Wednesday, we will get an estimate for Suki as well as verify the estimates for Kitsune because we noticed some discrepancies between the two estimates we received. (Edit: We posted the estimates for Suki's shots and spay. She'll get spayed if we exceed our goal. We also validated Kitsune's are correct. The vet gives a discount on some of the things if we do the cleaning.)
Please help put our hearts and minds at ease. If you are unable to donate, please share with all of the animal lovers you know.
