Kitten Dumped From Moving Car - Help Us Save Him

I'm Li Speaks; you may know me from YouTube. On Wednesday, July 5th, Buster the 2-month-old kitten was dumped from a moving car onto a busy road to be hit and left for dead. My partner and I just happened to be walking by as this happened, and we stopped traffic and got him out of the road before he was hit.

He wasn't injured during his traumatic abandonment, but he was clearly neglected and terrorized before coming into our care. He was sick with an upper respiratory illness, bloated with intestinal worms, and too weak to run and play. He was also extremely reactive and fearful of human beings, hiding any time a person came into the room.

Within just a couple of days, Buster has made a huge improvement.

Every day he's become more healthy, more playful, more vibrant, and less afraid of people. However, this unexpected strain on our expenses has put us in a difficult situation; we would like to keep Buster in our care and make sure that nobody ever hurts him again, but we need your help to overcome the initial wave of expenses that come with unexpectedly taking in a sick kitten.

The expense breakdown for the sum that I'm asking is as follows:

Initial emergency vet visit - $450

Apartment pet fee - $250

Pet rent adjustment - (4 months) - $200

Upcoming veterinary care (vaccinations, medication, neuter) - $600
