Kitten Gyoza Needs a MRI

Friday night, Nov 10th at 10:30pm i got a text from someone that helps care for my colony @bkwaterfrontcats
“We found a kitten it’s up inside a car “
Well sadly I was fast asleep, becoz I’m up at 5am everyday!! . But when I woke up and finally got the important detailed information, I contacted a friend I knew to be closest to the kitten. My friend and rock star trapper, shy to give her name here, immediately grabbed a kitten trap and ran over. after waited with trap set for an hour, she thought she had trapped a rat. But no! Thank god it was indeed the kitten. !! Screaming it’s lungs out.
But sadly soon after getting Gyoza kitten was inside, warm and fed… it crashed. It froze up ! This was so sad and scary. But we did not give up. We rushed the kitty to VERG. after many test and bloodwork done, $300 later the veterinarian was perplexed. So it was decided to bring the kitten home, and keep him warm, fed and give him time. And so far it’s working. but not completely. Kitten Gyoza still only standing a short time and is walking only a few painful steps. Two vets have now recommended an MRI and X-rays. The estimate price for this is $1300 plus $120.

Update today November 25th, “Kitten Gyoza still only slump stands a short time and is walking only a very few painful steps. he walks wobbly and he cannot fully stand. He shakes his head from time to time.”
