Kittens Helping to Find a Cure for FIP

Tax deductible
The University of California-Davis has developed a possible cure for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Prior to this FIP was a death sentence for cats and kittens as no cure was available.

Second Hand Purrs has enrolled four kittens with FIP to participate in the testing that is facilitated by several groups. These brave kittens have endured daily injections for 84 days. They are now being monitored and it appears the treatment has worked well. The study boasts a 99% cure rate. We hope this will lead to a widely available treatment for all cat owners faced with this diagnosis.

The treatment is at our expense and quite costly. We are asking for donations to offset the cost. If you would like to help we would appreciate donations of any amount. This is a huge step forward to save FIP cats.
