Cleopatra the cat emergency surgery

I came home yesterday to find my normally spunky one year old cat Cleopatra limp and unmoving. I rushed her to the vet to find that she'd swallowed a thread which has wound itself around her stomach and she needs emergency surgery immediately. She will not survive without the surgery and it costs $1600 (or more).

Those of you who know me well know that my dog, Bea, has had many health issues including a rare autoimmune disease costing a small fortune, and so this surgery is more than I can afford. It's with a heavy heart that I post this, but Cleopatra must have the surgery. Anything will help. Thank you!
