KittyFlo Learning Academy

KittyFlo Learning Academy is a small, family environment that embraces the age-old tradition of children being taught, loved, and trained within the family community. We emphasize play and exploration to foster opportunities for ALL children to learn. Focusing more on the child’s interests and needs, than on methods, inspires kids to love learning.


With our focus on learning through play, the children play both indoors and outdoors throughout the day. Our outdoor play and learning area is well-loved and well-used every day, weather permitting. Daily use has begun to wear down the equipment and the land. Some of their favorite activities are biking, swinging, running and 
exploring the texture and feel of the dirt and slide. They have worn 
down the grass to the point that we only have a bare dirt play area.  On our playground swing set, a one rod beginning to disconnect from the base. The kids love playing - and play is a key component of how they learn. But we fear it is becoming unsafe. 


It is our goal that through family and community donations we may be able to get a new playground swing set and artificial grass for the lawn so our children can continue to learn, joyfully.
