Hi. My name is Aron Penski and my wife Yaffa and I are both self-employed, small business owners on Mercer Island Washington.
Our Gym, Kix and Spinz started as a dream back in 2012.
My wife and I had just gotten married and instead of going on a honeymoon immediately, we got to work on making our dream a reality. We opened Kix and Spinz in October 2012, on the Southend of Mercer Island with a goal to make an impact on health and fitness for the entire family unit. I've been training kids, adults, and seniors ever since! We Love Fitness, We Love MI, and We Love Our Community.
We closed on March 15th with the hopes of opening a month later. A month has come and gone and we don't know when we will open again but we will and we are humbly asking for your help as the bills keep coming for our family. In the meantime, Kix and Spinz is offering free workout plans and health and nutrition tips to the entire community whether you are a current client or not.
My wife and I are both small business owners and her business has been severely impacted as well. We've been living our dream being a household of 2 small business owners but now we are paying a price - one we wouldn't change-but we are humbly asking for help because we have fallen between the cracks of many of these federally and state assistance programs. We aren't giving up and continue to seek assistance on all levels: federal, state, city, and now our community.
This is the community where we raise our 4 children, the same community I grew up in and now serve on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club.

2. Help us make Rent payments, healthcare, utilities, car payments, groceries for our family of 6
3. Re-opening costs for Kix and Spinz under new state guidelines to maintain the safest, cleanest, hardest working little gym around!
