Kizzy's Place Medical Fund

In 2020 we saved the same amount of animals as we did in 2019, but in 2020 we raised a third of the funds we raised in 2019. Due to Covid every event was canceled to losing one of our best partners in Pet Valu, to people just not having the money to donate the way they used to. We struggled to get by. We made it through 2020 only because of the money that Susan Caruso (one of our founders left us when she passed.) 

Sadly we are back at square one. If we are to continue being an active rescue we need donations. We’ve got thousands of dollars of surgeries, dentals, spay/neuters etc coming up and we just don’t have the money to get that done. With events still on hold things are going to be really tough in 2021. 

We currently have three cats that need very expensive medical care. One is missing a nose and needs a rhinoscopy and a surgery to open up his nostrils so he can breath easier. His surgery will cost at least $3,000. The second cat has a deformed soft palate and also needs a rhinoscopy and surgery. The estimate for his surgery is $2,500. The third is blind and has a painful eye condition the requires both eyes to be removed. Her surgery will cost at least $1500. We also had a dog who needed heart worm treatment which is also costly almost $1,000.  In addition to these animals we have multiple cats needing dentals (minimum $250 not counting extractions) as well as routine care like spay/neuters, shots, fiv/felv tests, microchips (minimum $200 each). We owe thousands to spay/neuter clinics too. For us to survive and continue to save animals in need we need help. We need donations, if you are able to help by donating please do, any amount helps.
