Help Riley Study Abroad

Hi, My name is Riley McConnell, and I will graduate from UNC-Asheville in May with a B.A. in Chemistry. Before applying to medical school, I intend to take a gap year. I want to fill my gap year with activities that will strengthen my resume and make me more competitive for Medical School. Studying abroad was something I had hoped to do during my undergraduate studies. Due to Covid-19, my study abroad trip to Greece in 2020 was canceled.  Atlantis, a study abroad program for pre-med students, has given me the opportunity to travel to Ferrol, Spain to job shadow and gain valuable life experience in another country. I was recently accepted into the program and intend to travel abroad in May following graduation. This is a significant opportunity that I do not want to pass up.
