Help with rent and expenses - Linda

I am so reluctant to ask for help, but I am down to zero options. I don’t know what else to do.

I haven’t been able to work since Katie passed; and then so much garbage has happened since …. all of the losses and enormous challenges since, have just about broken me completely. I wish that I could work.

The problem with that is, when I think of Katie … I want to picture her as her beautiful self, and not as the last time I saw her at her house. It gets stuck, and then I cant focus on much else for a bit.

I had disability benefits through insurance, but the insurance company closed my benefits in October and I’ve been living on very little since, but until now, I’ve somehow managed.

I’m hoping my benefit appeal will be successful and benefits will start again next month. The government agencies aren’t much help at all, but I am thankful for the help with groceries and medical coverage.
