Please help us honor Michael Sexton's Life

Let me start off by saying F*** Cancer!!!!!
Im sure we will all agree, this ugly disease has taken far too many of the best people, and far too soon!
My name is Alexis Wuebbling, I am the eldest of 4 daughters to Michael P. Sexton.

On Sunday, December 15th, 2024, my father Michael Patrick Sexton (12/11/1971) passed away surrounded by family, after a VERY short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Dad was diagnosed with uncurable stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer shortly before Thanksgiving this year. Unfortunately, we also found out not long after this that the cancer has matasticized and was also present on his hip, ribs, lower vertebrate, stomach, and brain. This was VERY unexpected news to all of us, especially because he initial went into the ER for what was believed to be kidney stones. That started the train of events following all of the other discoveries throughout his body.
My dad did not have life insurance, and no savings for funeral expenses, as he had just turned 53 on Wednesday. This was not anything we EVER expected would happen so abruptly, as dad was in generally pretty good health!

Now we face the grim truth of life.... everything costs something. So we are asking for your help.
Dad was always such a kind hearted and caring man. He would help anyone he could without hesitation! He always wanted everyone to have a good time and loved to just hang out and enjoy eachothers company. If you gave him your ear long enough, he could tell you a story from here until next year! He was a wealth of knowledge and often caught people off guard with his shy guy demeanor. Dad loved heavy metal, rock, and death metal, and you could often find him back stage at a concert nearest you!! If he wasnt at a concert, he was listening to music, tinkering with cars, digging for natural stones, playing with one of his numerous cats, or practicing on one of his MANY guitars! If you could break through his quiet exterior, you would find a kind and soft soul, a ENORMOUS heart, and an all encompassing love for his daughters, his family, music, and all things green!

We have heard from so many people about how much they loved dad, and we want to hear your stories, and see your pictures and videos!!!
Please share them with us: AMWdesigns4@gmail.com

We have been asked by numerous people how they can help. Honestly, this is the HARDEST thing to try to ask for help, plan for the holidays, and now plan a funeral as well as grieve for our Father... he was OUR protector! We just were not emotionally or financially prepared for any of this!
We are asking our friends, family, and community members near and far, to please please consider making a donation to help us lay our dad to rest properly... Every little bit helps!

**We are also trying to get together a benefit with a few local bands to help raise money, and rock out for dad one more time like he would want us to! Date to be determined.

We thank you all so much for your kind words at this time, we will post funeral/memorial arrangements as soon as we are able.

If you are uncomfortable using GoFundMe, donations can also be made directly to Newcomer Funeral Home on Parkcrest Ave at [phone redacted].
