Memorial for Miguel Parra
Donation protected
We have all been there. It hurts. We need your help.
We are heartbroken by the passing of father, husband, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, Miguel Parra, on Thursday, March 5th in a hospital in Victorville. He left us knowing that he was surrounded by the love of those who will miss him every day of every week of every year. We have faith that those who have left before us were there to greet him on the other side. We miss him already.
He was a fighter. From his weekly dialysis appointments to his heart surgery, he had survived so many medical obstacles, always grateful to be able to spend time more time with those he loved. This last cancer blow was more than his weakened body could take, and so we say goodbye...much too soon and with the heaviest hearts. It feels so unfair.
The things that he loved the most were joking around, taking care of his car, and helping his family. It took him many lessons and years to become the man he was at 57...funny, handy, loving, generous, and kind. He was grateful to have his wife, kids, stepkids, and grandkids in his life. He truly enjoyed the good times he spent with them, and he was so proud of them. He knew he was going to leave them too soon, and not be around to help any more.
I know the last thing he would have wanted would be to leave his family distraught and worried. As you know, dealing with arrangements and funeral expenses is difficult with the pain of loss. It is overwhelming to not know where the money will come from.
This is why we humbly ask for your help. Whatever you can give will be appreciated more than you know.
His son Mikey will be taking care of final expenses. Let's ease his pain by sharing his financial burden.
Thank you and God bless you.
