Karin Hohban - OC Transpo bus route 269

On January 11, 2019, our wonderful friend, mother and sister Karin was seriously injured in the terrible OC Transpo accident in Westboro. She was taken to the hospital where she remains in stable, but serious condition.

Karin is a single mom of two teenage boys that was working 2 jobs. Her road to recovery will be long and full of uncertainty. This GoFundMe campaign is being organized to ease the financial burden on Karin and her immediate family.

Since news of Karin’s injuries, there has been a huge outpouring of love and support from her friends and family. Everyone who knows and loves Karin describes her as positive, energetic, full of life, and a fighter.

Many have asked what they can do to help. As her family, friends, colleagues and fellow advocates, we can assist by helping shoulder some of the immediate and future financial needs of Karin’s injuries so her and her family can focus exclusively on her progress and rehabilitation.
