World Junior Chess Championships 2023 Aus Team

Hi everyone,

We have two junior representatives going to represent the Australian team in the World Junior Chess Championships in Mexico City, from the 20th of September to the 2nd of October. This event is one of the most prestigious annual chess events and is an incredible opportunity for our junior competitors. Our two representatives - IM Cameron McGowan for the Open section and WCM Jody Middleton for the Girls section - have made notable achievements in the Australian chess domain, and need your help to enable them to receive adequate coaching and support to help them succeed for the competition ahead.

All contributions will go towards helping our two competitors with accommodation, coaching and flight costs, as well as contributing to acquiring uniforms to bear the colours and pride of Australia. Additionally, we would ideally like to have a coach accompany our competitors to the event to ensure they have adequate support at the event.

We appreciate any donations and are looking forward to seeing our competitors perform in this tournament.
