Klem Family Fundraiser-Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Sean and I’d like to extend a helping hand to an outstanding friend of mine, Peter Klem, after he suffered a traumatic vehicular collision in January of 2020. After 2 months in the hospital and 9 surgeries later, his life is anything but normal. Let me back up for a moment. Peter and I served together in the US Army as Infantrymen. I first met Peter in March of 2013 when he was assigned to Fort Drum, NY. Right from the start we clicked as great friends, our family’s soon became close. Over the course of the next 3 years, we did almost everything together, a real brotherhood you would call it. After our time in the Army, we have stayed in contact and talk often over the phone. Peter soon after the Military would join Local Union #3 IBEW as a commercial electrician. He worked for his Union Hall for 5 years. Since January 2020, his wife, Samantha, has taken full time care of Peter, due to his conditions. He suffers from multiple seizures a week and is unable to have employment now because of them. His wife is also unable to work full time because she is his primary care giver. Unfortunately, over the course of time, they have dwindled down their savings account, and have multiple credit cards about to reach the end of the road. With two children going to school, life has become extremely difficult for this small family to operate on a day to day basis. These funds will be used for many things coverings help with the mortgage payment, to the electric bill, to medical bills as well. I’m hopeful we can come together and make this a reality for my good friend Peter Klem and his family, he’s more than deserving. Anything you can do to help will be appreciated. Thank you.
